Mindful of the Gospel and informed through our particular heritage as a justice-seeking people, we the community of the Church of the Holy Trinity commit to the practice and the celebration of an inclusive justice as we welcome the gifts and experiences of all people who gather for worship in this place, lifting up their struggles as our own, and committing ourselves to their full participation in the ministries of our parish and the broader church.

In our commitment to imaging the Liberating God in our time, we strive to live in solidarity with all marginalized people including women, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgendered people, people of colour, people of the first Nations, people living in poverty, the young and the old, people living with disabilities, uprooted people, and non-traditional families.

We offer this welcome recognising that significant power differences still exist among and between us. Our commitment to welcome includes our willingness to address not just the justice struggles of our global community, but also the justice struggles relevant to our community life as a parish.

Our parish community bears witness to the hopeful vision of a just and inclusive church and society. Among the current policies and practices of the broader Anglican communion are those which prevent us from embodying more fully this vision. For this we mourn and commit ourselves to working for change.
